RPI junior forward Chase Polacek has been named ECAC Hockey Player of the Year, and freshman forward Jerry D'Amigo won the league's Rookie of the Year Award, it was announced at the league banquet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Polacek was the league's leading scorer with 17 goals and 18 assists. Overall, Polacek had 26 goals and 26 assists. He is also a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award.

D'Amigo, who helped Team USA win the gold medal at the World Junior Championships in January, had seven goals and 17 assists in 21 league games. He had 10 goals and 24 assists in 35 games overall.
