WTMM bumps Yanks for World Cup soccer on Saturday

Yankees fans aren't going to like this, but soccer fans will.

WTMM-FM (104.5) will carry ESPN Radio's coverage of the World Cup soccer match between the United States and England on Saturday. Coverage begins at 2 p.m., and the game starts at 2:30 p.m.

That means the Yankees' game against the Houston Astros, which starts at 1 p.m., won't be on WTMM.

WTMM will carry 11 World Cup games. Here is its schedule.

Saturday - USA vs. England, 2 p.m.
June 18th - USA vs. Slovenia, 9:30 a.m.
June 23rd - USA vs. Algeria, 9:30 a.m.
June 26th - Round of 16 match TBA, 2 p.m.
June 27th - Round of 16 match TBA. 9:30 a.m.
July 2nd - Quarterfinal, 9:30 a.m.
July 3rd - Quarterfinal, 9:30 a.m.
July 6th - Semifinal, 2 p.m.
July 7th - Semifinal, 2 p.m.
July 10th - Third-Place Game, 2 p.m.
July 11th - Championship Match 1:30 p.m.
