ESPN 'Sunday Night Baseball' schedule
The Mets will make four appearances, and the Yankees three, on ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" in the first half of the season, the network announced today.
A month ago, ESPN announced that ESPN2 would televise the season opener between the Yankees and Red Sox April 4. The Yankees and Red Sox will be on again May 9 on ESPN, as well as the Yankees-Mets game May 23. Strangely, in all three of those games, the Yankees are the road team.
The Mets will make three consecutive appearances April 18 at St. Louis, April 25 when they host Atlanta and May 2 when they visit my Phillies.
