John Tavares, the top pick in the June NHL draft, will make his New York Islanders' home debut Wednesday against the New Jersey Devils, and MSG Plus will televise the game.

Air time is 7 p.m. Jiggs McDonald will substitute for Howie Rose as the play-by-play voice and will be joined by MSG analyst Billy Jaffe, as well as analyst Butch Goring, the former Capital District Islanders' coach, and host/reporter Deb Placey.

Prior to the game, MSG Plus will have an Islanders season preview at 6:30 p.m. Jaffe will have an interview with Tavares.
