The UAlbany football team almost pulled off an upset of Georgia Southern on Saturday. But Georgia Southern kicked a field goal in the final minute to win, 29-26.

However, people listening to the game on WOFX-AM (980) didn’t get to hear play-by-play announcer Rodger Wyland called the game-winning kick. Technical difficulties during the final two minutes of the game knocked the broadcast off at the most inopportune time. Instead of hearing the field goal, listeners heard music and commercials.

That should not happen.
