MLB adds to broadcast schedule

Major League Baseball announced Tuesday additions to its national broadcast schedule for this month of with a series of "Pennant Race" games featuring playoff contenders on TBS and MLB Network.

MLB Network will have a Labor Day double-header. At 2 p.m., it will show the Red Sox and White Sox. The 7 p.m. game, featuring the Yankees and Rays, will be blacked out on MLBN because YES is televising the game in the Capital Region.

MLBN will also have games on Sept. 15, 22 and 29. The matchups will be determined later.

TBS will pick up the Friday, Sept. 25 meeting between the Red Sox and Yankees. That game will be blacked out here because it will be on MY4 (WNYA).
