H.S. football broadcast schedules

The high school football season begins Friday night, and there will be plenty of games to watch on TV and listen to on the radio.

– Time Warner Cable Sports channel 3 will begin its nine-game regular-season schedule with LaSalle at Saratoga Springs at 7 p.m. Friday. Schenectady will be featured next Friday when it visits Shenendehowa. One of the games will be a western Massachusetts showdown between Lee and Taconic.

On the radio side, Gloversville’s WENT-AM (1340) will have a double-header Friday to open its 13-game broadcast schedule. The live game at 7 p.m. will be Mohonasen at Gloversville. The Hudson-Johnstown game will be tape-delayed at 10 p.m.

Amsterdam radio station WVTL-AM (1570) will carry Amsterdam and Fonda-Fultonville games. The first game is Friday at 7 p.m., when Amsterdam hosts Bishop Maginn.

Another Amsterdam radio station, WCSS-AM (1490), will carry all of Amsterdam’s games.
