Mike Keenan, who coached the New Uork Rangers to the 1994 Stanley Cup, will join the MSG Network as a studio analyst for its hockey coverage, it was announced Thursday.

Keenen, who was fired as coach of the Calgary Flames at the end of last season, joins Sam Rosen, Joe Micheletti, Al Trautwig, John Giannone, Dave Maloney, Ron Duguay as a regular guest analyst for pregame, intermission and postgame reports on the network. Keenan will make his debut Friday, when the Rangers visit the defending Stanley Cup-champion Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 p.m.

Also, former ESPN "SportsCenter" anchor Bill Pidto has been named stuido host for the MSG's coverage of Rangers and Knicks road games.
