All-time games marathon on MLB Network

If you don't want to watch football games Thanksgiving weekend, then tune into MLB Network for a marathon of all-time games.

MLB Network will air classic baseball games, starting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday with the 1971 All-Star game. That was the game in which Oakland A's slugger Reggie Jackson hit a home run off the light tower on the roof of Tiger Stadium.

The final All-Star game played at the old Yankee Stadium in 2008 will also be televised. Eight All-Star games will air on MLB Network for the first time as part of the marathon, including 1982, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2000.

Other Thanksgiving week programming highlights include the following:

Tonight
"Prime 9" All-Time Closers at 8 p.m.
"Prime 9: All-Time Clutch Hitters at 8:30 p.m.
Capital One Premier Plays of the Year (National League) at 9 p.m.
Tuesday
"Studio 42 with Bob Costas" Juan Marichal at 8 p.m.
Capital One Premier Plays of the Year (American League) at 9 p.m.
Wednesday
"Baseball’s Seasons" 1969 at 8 p.m.
