About 400 elementary- and middle-school students taking part in the Shenendehowa Inventors program will display their inventions at the former Cotton Market store at Clifton Park Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Union freshman goalie Keith Kinkaid was named ECAC Hockey rookie of the week on Monday.
Kinkaid helped the Dutchmen to wins over St. Lawrence and Clarkson over the weekend. He made 20 saves in his first ECACH start, a 4-3 victory over St. Lawrence on Friday. He followed that up with an 18-save effort in Saturday's 5-1 win over Clarkson.
That gave Union its first North Country sweep since Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2003.
