Tony Bruno will be rejoining the Fox Sports Radio lineup Aug. 10, the network announced.
Bruno's show, "Into the Night with Tony Bruno," will air from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. That means JT "The Brick's" show will move to 1-6 a.m.
Fox Sports Radio is heard in the Capital Region on WOFX-AM (980).
Bruno, a native of Philadelphia (and, like me, a devout Philadelphia sports fan), was with ESPN Radio when that started up in 1992. He joined Fox Sports Radio for its debut in 2000.
"I'm proud to be a part of the team at Fox Sports Radio, and excited about the growth and development of the network," Bruno said in a statement. "Those who know my work will be happy to hear that we continue to deliver the latest sports info, top notch interviews, updates on current affairs and entertainment, while providing my unique brand of energy and fun with the guests, listeners and callers."
"Tony Bruno is one of sports-talk radio's most talented personalities, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome him back to the network," Fox Sports Radio vice president/general manager Don Martin said in a statement. "This is a significant step in the growth of FOX Sports Radio. Tony and JT will create a one-two punch that will dominate the evening hours."
