Since Friday is the official July 4 holiday and most people are off, the Capital Region's two daily sportstalk shows won't be on the air.

Rodger Wyland's "Big Board Sportstalk" on WOFX-AM (980) will be replaced by a live airing of "The Dan Patrick Show." Patrick's show will be replayed at 3 p.m.

Brian Sinkoff's "Sound off with Sinkoff" on WTMM-FM (104.5) will have its spot taken by ESPN Radio’s "The Doug Gottlieb Show." Gottlieb's show will come on following the conclusion of the New York Yankees postgame show. The Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays play at 1 p.m. Friday on WTMM.
