Late update on Time Warner/MLB Network problem
By Ken Schott
Friday, January 2, 2009
A late update on the problem Time Warner Cable experienced in getting the debut of MLB Network on channel 621 Thursday.
Peter Taubkin, vice-president of government relations and public affairs for the Albany Division of Time Warner Cable, sent an e-mail to my home account and said it was receiving the MLB signal at the headend and it is going out and being received in most locations.
"The issue appears to be isolated to a few areas, and we continue to investigate," he wrote.
