Two former college quarterbacks will be part of SNY’s Big East football coverage.

SNY announced Monday that Don McPherson (Syracuse) and Ray Lucas (Rutgers) will join host Chris Cotter on the cable channel’s Big East football coverage.

"We’re excited to add Ray and Don, both stellar quarterbacks in college, to our inaugural Big East football coverage," SNY’s senior vice president of production and executive producer Curt Gowdy, Jr. Said in a statement. "Their unique perspectives and candid analysis – combined with their contemporary knowledge of the Big East Conference – will engage our viewers in an entertaining and informative manner."

SNY kicks off Big East football coverage Sept. 27, when Pittsburgh visits Syracuse.

I would hardly call any matchup involving Syracuse a "game" anymore ... Can anybody tell me why Robinson still has a job, other than the fact that the AD is his buddy and brought him in to replace Pasqualoni (who, by the way, is now defensive coordinator for an NFL team - well, if you consider the Dolphins an NFL team) ... The Syracuse football program is in shambles and has no chance of getting any better unless and until they send this goofball Robinson back to SoCal.

The Big East should kick out Syracuse football and bring back Temple. That would be the ultimate insult!

Temple would probably beat SU by two touchdowns right now ... Hell, Schenectady High would probably be a 3-1/2-point favorite ... at the Dome.

Only 3 1/2? More like 30 1/2!
