College baseball on WRPI; ESPN announces NCAA lacrosse tournament TV schedule

Some college-related TV/Radio items for you on Wednesday.

– WRPI-FM (91.5) will broadcast RPI’s games in the Liberty League tournament this weekend at the University of Rochester.

It will be “Breakfast with the Red Hawks” at 9:30 a.m. Friday, when second-seeded RPI faces third-seeded St. Lawrence. The winner faces the winner of the Clarkson-Rochester game on Friday afternoon. The time hasn’t determined.

The tournament continues Saturday and Sunday. Perry Laskaris will call the action.

– The ESPN networks will televise all 15 games from the NCAA men’s Division I lacrosse tournament, starting this weekend.

ESPNU will have eight games this weekend. Beginning at noon on Saturday, Denver visits Maryland, followed by Loyola (Md.) at Duke at 2:30 p.m., Ohio State at Cornell at 5 p.m. and Navy at North Carolina at 7:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Notre Dame hosts Colgate at noon, Hofstra is at Johns Hopkins at 2:30 p.m., UMBC visits Virginia at 5 p.m. and Canisius is at Syracuse at 7:30 p.m.

ESPNU will televise the quarterfinals May 17-18 at noon and 3 p.m. The final four will be played at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. ESPN2 will have the semifinals May 24 at noon and 2:30 p.m. ESPN televises the final at 1 p.m. May 26.
