TW-3 has AHL playoff games

For those still craving AHL playoff action, Time Warner Cable channel 3 will broadcast Games 3 and 4 of the Calder Cup North Division Final between the Syracuse Crunch and the Toronto Marlies.

Game 3 is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, with Game 4 at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The Crunch lead the series, 2-0. Games 5 (Friday) and 6 (Saturday) will also be on TW-3, if they are necessary.

TW-3 will also have International League baseball at 7 p.m. Thursday, when Syracuse plays Buffalo.

Finally, TW-3 will have Siena’s MAAC baseball double-header against Iona at noon Saturday.

Wait, you mean the AHL is still playing? I thought the playoffs ended when the Rats were bounced.

By the way, exactly what the heck is a Marlie? It sounds like something that could get you a mandatory jail sentence under the Rockefeller drug laws.
