NBA playoff game forces ESPN2 schedule change
By Ken Schott
Thursday, May 1, 2008
With ESPN2 set to televise Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference quarterfinal-round series between Cleveland at Washington at 7 p.m. Friday, it has necessitated a schedule change.
ESPN2 was originally scheduled to show the NASCAR Nationwide Series Lipton Tea 250 at 7:30 p.m. Now, that race will be shown live on ESPN Classic, Speed Channel and on the Internet at ESPN360.com. The race will re-air on ESPN2 following the conclusion of the Cleveland-Washington game.
Time Warner Cable subscribers who don’t have the digital cable converter box won’t be able to get ESPN Classic because it is only available on digital channel 610, or Speed because it's on channel 665.
