Siena highlights WRGB Friday basketball broadcast schedule

WRGB (Ch. 6) has announced what NCAA men’s basketball tournament first-round games will be televised on Friday.

The featured game, of course, is Siena and Vanderbilt, at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 6, digital channel 6.1 and Time Warner Cable channel 1806. The other games on those channels will be Davidson-Gonzaga at 12:25 p.m., San Diego State-Connecticut at 2:50 p.m. and Villanova-Clemson at 9:40 p.m.

Games that will be televised on TW-3, TW 1896 and digital channel 6.3 are St. Mary’s (Calif.)-Miami at 12:30 p.m., UMBC-Georgetown at 2:45 p.m., North Carolina against the Coppin State-Mount St. Mary’s opening round winner at 7:10 p.m. and Arkansas-Indiana at 9:30 p.m.

With TW-3 airing the basketball games, it appears the ECAC Hockey tournament semifinals will be shifted to TW-1, which is only available for subscribers with the digital cable box.
