Tuesday’s night incredible, scintillating, wonderful, beautiful, exciting comeback by the Phillies over the Mets (can you tell I’m a Phillies fan?) drew great ratings for SNY.
The Phillies’ 8-7, 13-inning victory over the Mets, a game in which the Mets choked away a 7-0 lead, drew a 5.32 rating, SNY announced Wednesday. It is the highest-rated Mets’ broadcast on SNY this season.
You can expect another good rating for tonight’s game. Hopefully, you can expect another Mets’ loss to my Fightin’ Phils!

Back to reality for the team that has lost the most games in the history of organized sports.
And it was your team's closer who choooooked last night.
How did that taste? Incredible, scintillating, wonderful, beautiful or exciting?

At least the Phillies have a legitimate closer!

Are you sure about that, Kenny??? I think the last time Lidge was considered a legitimate was when about four years ago - before he became the human gas can of the Astros' bullpen.

Lidge hasn't blown a save all year! Billy Wagner is more of a human gas can, especially in big games!

And as a Phillie fan, you would know about Wagner.
Seriously, though, I just checked Lidge's stats, and you're right, he is actually having a decent season.

Yes, Wagner choked down the stretch his last year with the Phillies.

Hey Ken, did you happen to get the TV ratings for last night's choooooooke by the Phillies? That's 2 straight, just in case you're scoring at home.
And where was your legitimate closer, anyway?

Hey Ken, congrats on the Phillies' hat trick today -- 3 straight late-inning chooooooke jobs. Scintillating!

Oh Ken, hope you saw another late-inning, game-winning rally by the Mets...how are they doing it without a legitimate closer?
