Former Union forward Josh Coyle, who played briefly with the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones at the conclusion of the college hockey season in March, will continue his pro career this fall.
Coyle signed a contract Friday with the Arizona Sundogs, the defending Central Hockey League champions. He will join another Union alum, forward Jason Visser, on the team.
Coyle had seven goals and 10 assists in 28 games last season. His best year came in 2006-07, when he was second in team scoring with 14 goals and 17 assists. He had 35 goals and 42 assists in 104 career games.
