Tuesday's Rats-Phantoms series deciding game on WVCR-FM (88.3)

Albany River Rats fans will be able to listen to Game 7 of the AHL Calder Cup Eastern Division semifinal against the Philadelphia Phantoms on Tuesday.

The Rats announced Monday that the deciding game of the series will be carried by WVCR-FM (88.3). Game 6 on Saturday was scheduled to be on the Rats’ flagship station, WTMM-FM (104.5), but didn’t get on the air. The reason given was a conflict with a New York Yankees’ game against Cleveland, which didn’t start until 3:55 p.m.

In other radio news, WRPI-FM (91.5) will have RPI baseball this weekend when the Red Hawks face Skidmore Saturday and Sunday. Air time both days is nnon.
