Rats' game didn't air on WTMM

Saturday, April 26, 2008
If you were looking to listen to the Albany River Rats’ Calder Cup game against the Philadelphia Phantoms on WTMM-FM (104.5) on Saturday afternoon starting at 1 p.m., you didn’t get it.
The official word, from the Rats’ end, is that the game didn’t air due to a Yankees’ conflict. The Yankees played Cleveland at 3:55 p.m.
The game was available on the Rats’ Web site.
Tuesday’s series-deciding game will most likely be on WVCR-FM (88.3). An official announcement is expected Monday.

Why can't the Yankee game be moved? The Rats are the local team and this is the playoffs? The Yankees play 135 more games, why not drop them for one night. WVCR has a better signal anyway.
