Villanova 84, Siena 72
What a season for Siena.
The Saints never got into this one, as Villanova put the clamps on Siena from the opening tap and never let up.
Siena looked sweaty, tired and frustrated.
Villanova coach Jay Wright just said, "We were scared to death to get behind them early."
The Saints have nothing to apologize for, though, after a 23-11 season.
And here's the scary part: as big as Tay Fisher was for Siena, he's the only one leaving. They will be back.

Villanova 75, Siena 62, 3:40
The Saints fans finally had something to get fired up about, and it lasted about two seconds.
Alex Franklin scored a tough basket inside and drew the foul to cut it to 67-58, but his free throw clanked off the front of the rim.

Villanova 67, Siena 54, 7:15
Josh Duell hit a three to cut it to 61-51, but Villanova just won't let up.
Siena had two possession after that and turned it over both times.

Villanova 42, Siena 32, Halftime
The Saints' shooting has been brutal at times, and they look frustrated and a little tired and bedraggled trying to match up with Villanova's big guards.
That said, they have to be happy to be down by only 10 points.
Midway through the half, Scottie Reynolds was single-handedly outscoring Siena, 13-12, when the Wildcats held a 26-12 lead.
Alex Franklin got things going a little bit toward the end of the half, and Josh Duell made a big three-pointer to cut it to 42-32.
Siena had a chance to cut into the lead a little bit more in the final seconds, but turned it over with 1.2 seconds left.
Siena was just 8-for-29 (27.6 percent) from the field and 13-for-20 from the free throw line.
Reynolds has 17 points, and Corey Stokes has 14.
Franklin has 12.

Villanova 19, Siena 5, 12:54
Yikes. The Saints' shooting is awful. They're not just off, they're way off. Tay Fisher coming in not a moment too soon.

Villanova 12, Siena 4, 14:48
It's chilly in this building, which might explain why Siena starters Josh Duell, Edwin Ubiles and Ronald Moore are wearing t-shirts, which they never do.
The Saints' shooting is cold, too. Kenny Hasbrouck came up way short on two jumpers, and Duell bricked a three.
Scottie Reynolds is a tough cover for Moore. Reynolds has two three-pointers.
