Junior shooting guard Clarence Jackson scored 24 points, including nine during a 17-4 run to start the second half as Siena broke open a close game to beat Tennessee State, 85-69, tonight.
Jackson made a three-pointer to start the second half and give the Saints a 41-28 lead.
He scored four straight to finish the run and make it 55-32 with 15:48 left to play.
The Tigers never threatened from there.
Siena committed 13 turnovers in the first half, and pesky Tennessee State led, 25-23, with less than five minutes left in the first half.
The Saints outscored the Tigers, 15-3, from there to get a 10-point cushion at halftime.
Alex Franklin, who had 10 points and six rebounds, finished an alley oop dunk from Ronald Moore in transition to make it 31-25, and Clarence Jackson hit a deep three to finish the half.
All eight players who got in the game for Siena committed at least one turnover.
Other than Josh Sain, who scored 14 points for TSU, the Tigers were 6-for-22 from the field.
