Rats extend ticket offer
Tuesday, May 5, 2009

From the River Rats:

ALBANY – The Albany River Rats today announced that they have extended their "Early Bird" season ticket discount to May 30. The deal offers fans 20 percent off season tickets for the 2009-10 American Hockey League season.

The Rats are also offering new small business packages for the 2009-10 campaign that offer local merchants more flexible and affordable options. The packages allow potential partners to select personalized combinations of ticket plans, perks and benefits to accommodate both budget and needs with prices as low as $560 for a six-month advertising package.

“We’re very happy with the continued success of the early bird special,” said Steven Beno, VP of ticket sales. “We’ve already sold more new season tickets than we did last year and are excited to continue to build our fan base with this offer serving as a great foundation. The addition of new business packages will make it easier for local merchants to partner with one of the Capital Region’s premier sports franchises, allowing them the exposure their looking for at an affordable price.”

For more information contact Rats at (518) 487-2244 or www.albanyriverrats.com.
