Not sure why, but my original post from early this morning seems to be lost in cyberspace somewhere, so I'll put it back up and hope it stays around this time.
The Albany River Rats will host the Adirondack Phantoms on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the former Knickerbocker Arena in an AHL preseason game.
Albany announced the game today. The Rats and Phantoms are scheduled to meet for the first time on Friday, Sept. 25 at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
Both games begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the game in Albany are $5 for season ticket holders, children 12 and under, and adults 65 and over. Tickets for the general public are $10.
Adirondack and Albany will each play their regular-season opener at home on Oct. 3.
