A new film about climate change will be shown at Crossgates cinema at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 21, part of a worldwide screening event.

"The Age of Stupid," from director Franny Armstrong (McLibel) and producer John Battsek (One Day In September), stars Pete Postlethwaite as a man living alone in the devastated future world of 2055. Looking at old film footage from 2008, he asks: Why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?

The movie, four years in the making, was released in theaters in the United Kingdom in March.
