NFL Wild Card Picks
Yes, I lost my regular season Pigskin Pick’em match-up with my obnoxious friend from high school. But I’ve moved on, and now I’m focused on this weekend’s wild card games. Here are my predictions, with the winning team in caps:
Kansas City Chiefs at INDIANAPOLIS COLTS — The Chiefs had a very nice regular season, but it was all for naught: They will lose to the Colts this weekend.
New Orleans Saints at PHILADELPHIA EAGLES — The Saints have struggled on the road this season, and they’re facing off against a team that’s been playing very well of late. Which is why the Eagles will advance.
San Diego Chargers at CINCINNATI BENGALS — I’m a little torn on this. The Bengals would appear to be the better team, but they do have flaws, such as: an inconsistent quarterback and a mediocre head coach. But they’re very good at home, and the Chargers will have a tough time beating them.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at Green Bay Packers — I like Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, and I was happy to see him return to action last weekend and beat the Chicago Bears. But I don’t think Green Bay is good enough to beat the 49ers, who have been playing really, really well.
