NFL Conference Championship Picks
As always, winning teams in caps.
SAN FRANCISCO at Atlanta — I’m sorry, but I’m finding it hard to believe in Atlanta after Seattle came roaring back from a 20-point deficit in the fourth quarter. San Francisco, on the other hand, looked quite formidable. Like a Super Bowl team, in fact.
Baltimore at NEW ENGLAND — The Patriots suffered a big loss last week when they lost Rob Gronkowski, but I still think they’re going to beat the Ravens, because I don’t think the Ravens are really that good. Of course, the Ravens have been giving the Patriots fits for years, and this could be a gritty, low-scoring affair. However, the Patriots seem to have more secret weapons, like running back Shane Vereen. The New England Sports Fan Friend and I had never heard of this guy before, and he went out last week and scored two touchdowns. In any case, I hope the Patriots win this game, because the thought of the Ravens going to the Super Bowl drives me crazy.
