Help us out with tonight's mayoral debate
By Judy Patrick
Wednesday, October 19, 2011
Tonight is the big debate between Roger Hull and Gary McCarthy. The doors to Proctors GE Theatre open at 7 p.m., with the event beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Reporters will be asking questions of the candidates, but we'll also pose some questions submitted by people in the audience. We'll ask people to write their questions on index cards we will have at the door.
But if you'd rather post a question here, or on our Facebook page, send it our way today and we'll throw it in the mix for tonight.

A key issue for tomorrow nights’ debate is the proposition on the November 8 ballot. If passed, it will emasculate the Mayor’s office, making the burning question for this debate, “Why do you believe you’ll be able to do a better job handing out keys to the city and cutting ribbons?”!
Ask the candidates why they believe voters should pass or defeat the ballot proposition.

I have so many questions but also have children at home so can't attend. Here my top question:
What ideas do candidates have for bringing in tax-paying businesses to allow relief for overly-taxed homeowners?
