A Daily Gazette news blog
News and insight from behind the editing desk

Maybe it's just a fad. Maybe it's just for kids. But we've convinced ourselves we're not too stodgy to give Twitter a try (try and say that fast a few times).
We've posted our Twitter feed on our Web site, in the lower right-hand corner. If you're already on Twitter, you can also choose to follow us. Our name is dgazette.
We're still experimenting, looking for ways to make Twitter a good way to let our readers know what stories we're working on and what's happening in the newsroom. But we'll spare you the mundane details of our office life (Mike Lamendola needs to make another pot of coffee, Tom McBride is finishing up Sunday's Life & Arts pages, Jeff Wilkin has a nearly empty pound bag of peanut M&Ms on his desk...that kind of thing).

Hey...if Wilkin has a bag of M&Ms, I want to know about it...and given these pesky cubicle walls, that would be made much easier with twitter...
