Boucher signs ATO with Albany

Winger Reid Boucher signed an amateur tryout contract with the Albany Devils of the AHL on Friday, just on the heels of Jon Merrill's signing.

Boucher was a fourth-round pick for New Jersey in 2011. Last season, he played one game with Albany, suiting up for a game against Syracuse.

With the Sarnia Sting of the OHL, he has 90 goals and 55 assists over the last two seasons. This season, he led the league with 62 goals, breaking the old club mark of 58 set by Steven Stamkos.
