The New Jersey Devils on Wednesday signed right wing Reid Boucher to an entry-level contract.
The 19-year-old from Lansing, Mich. was the 99th overall draft pick in 2011. He leads the OHL with 62 goals this season with the Sarnia Sting, passing Steven Stamkos' club record of 58.
Boucher leads the Sting in power-play goals (21) and is tied for the lead in game-winning goals (9). He also has 32 assists.
At the end of last season, he played one game with Albany of the AHL. He was in Albany for this year's training camp, and attended New Jersey's training camp the season before.
