Butler claimed off waivers

The New Jersey Devils placed Bobby Butler on waivers on Sunday, and the Nashville Predators snatched him up on Monday morning.

Butler played 37 games with New Jersey's AHL club in Albany, recording 16 goals and 11 assists. He played 14 games with New Jersey, totalling one goal and one assist.

In 108 regular-season NHL games, Butler has 17 goals and 22 assists. He has 38 goals and 22 assists in 84 regular-season AHL games, and helped Binghamton to the Calder Cup in 2011 with 13 goals and four assists in 23 postseason games.
