Anderson gets first NHL point

With an assist on Ryan Carter's goal at 6:21 in the second period Thursday, Matt Anderson recorded his first NHL point in his second NHL game, helping the Devils tie the score, 2-2, in a game against the New York Islanders.
Anderson's former Albany teammate Stephen Gionta had the secondary assist, his second helper of the night.
