Whitney brothers could square off April 20
When the Norfolk Admirals come to Albany to play the Devils on April 20, the next-to-last day of the season for Albany, the game could feature a sibling rivalry.
Albany's Joe Whitney, the team's leading scorer, could be facing his little brother Steven, who Thursday signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Anaheim Ducks. It is likely, then, that Steven will sign an ATO with Norfolk for the remaining games this season.
Steven had 26 goals and 19 assists for Boston College this season. He won the Walter Brown Award for the best American-born collegiate player in New England.
Joe leads Albany with 25 goals and 23 assists in 57 games. He led the team in goals last season, too, as a rookie, and also is a former Boston College Eagle.
