Sullivan returns to Devils organization
Steve Sullivan, who broke into the professional game with the Albany River Rats in the mid-1990s, is back with New Jersey.
The Devils traded their seventh-round draft pick in the 2014 draft to the Phoenix Coyotes for Sullivan on Wednesday. Sullivan, a ninth-round pick for New Jersey in 1994, began his pro career with the Albany River Rats, where he played parts of his first three pro seasons.
He totaled 143 games with Albany, recording 72 goals, 99 assists and 267 penalty minutes.
His 15 years worth of NHL experience cover 1,002 games. He has 288 goals, 454 assists and 583 penalty minutes during his time with New Jersey, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, Pittsburgh and Phoenix.
