NYRA projects back-to-back profits

The proposed budget for the New York Racing Association projects a $15 million net income in 2013.

A discussion and some specifics of the proposed budget are available below.

The non-profit racing corporation, which runs racing at Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct, is expecting to follow up 2012 with another profitable year. NYRA projects a $14 million net income for last year, breaking a long streak of running in the red.
