Kolb's Komments

By David Lombardo
Tuesday, January 8, 2013

Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb offered some thoughts in advance of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's state of the state address on Wednesday.

The western New York Republican wants the governor to focus on reducing the size of the state government and to focus on creating jobs.

"As an example, consolidating the Thruway Authority with the Department of Transportation, providing local tax relief for our municipalities and school districts by focusing on reducing unfunded mandates, and certainly going forward, trying to create a better economic horizon for working families throughout our state, which is why I want to make permanent the 2011 middle class tax cut," Kolb says in a brief video.
