The Board of Directors for the New York Racing Association is expected to appoint an interim leadership team today to replace outgoing COO and President Ellen McClain.

According to the agenda, Senior VP and CFO Susanne Stover, Vice President of Facilities & Racing Surfaces Glen Kozak and Vice President of Corporate Development David O'Rourke will be named the new leadership team. McClain's last day is supposed to be on April 30.

McClain rose to power under then-President and CEO Charlie Hayward. Last Spring she replaced him as the president of NYRA when he was ousted for his alleged role in a takeout scandal.

Also at today's meeting, NYRA Board of Directors Chairman David Skorton will give an update on the nationwide CEO search. At the previous board meeting, he said a short list had not been drafted for CEO candidates.

NYRA is offering a $300,000 base salary and about $250,000 in annual incentives for the next CEO.
