Politician shirtless and wet (for a good cause)

For a good cause, Assemblyman Tony Jordan is willing to go shirtless, get wet and suffer the cold.

The Washington County Republican was at a Malta gathering on Saturday afternoon, where he volunteered to spend some time in a dunk tank. The proceeds he generated benefited the local rotary club.

"[Malta] Supervisor [Paul] Sausville gave me the dreaded call," Jordan joked as an explanation for why he ended up in the dunk tank.

The event that the assemblyman's shame was part of has been put on for years by local businesses to promote some of the things that are going on in the Malta community. Jordan described it as a great community day.

He added that the weather wasn't too cold, except for when a gust of wind blew through or the sun disappeared from the sky.
