Clifton Park Town Court receives grant
Wednesday, March 6, 2013
Clifton Park Town Court will be able to replace outdated printers and buy equipment to identify counterfeit cash after getting a $3,588 state grant.
Justices Robert A. Rybak and James F. Hughes got the grant from the Justice Court Assistance Program, which was established in 1999 to give equipment to small local courts. The grant is administered through the state Office of Court Administration.
The court has been awarded more than $33,000 total in grants in recent years, Rybak said. Previous grants have helped improve the court building off Route 146 and upgraded storage systems and computers.
