Second Assembly bid a possibility for Woerner
Former Democratic Assembly hopeful Carrie Woerner isn't ruling out another campaign in the future and is still raising campaign cash.
"I'm holding my options open," she said in a recent phone interview.
The possibility of another stab at the 113th Assembly District, which was won by Republican Tony Jordan last year, could come before next fall, as Jordan is the front runner in a Washington County District Attorney race this fall. If Jordan wins that seat, a special election would likely be called in the spring of next year.
According to the July campaign finance filings from Woerner, her campaign has more than $15,000, raising about $1,000 and spending about $2,000 in the last six months.
"I continue to believe Saratoga and Washington counties deserve strong active representation," Woerner added.
