Feminist and journalist Gloria Steinem is coming to Skidmore College on Thursday.
The 78-year-old will be speaking at 7 p.m. in the Arthur Zankel Music Center. Tickets for the event were immediately reserved, according to college spokeswoman Andrea Wise.
Skidmore's Student Speakers Bureau, which is hosting the event, said on its Facebook event page that the topic of Steinem's talk is "The Longest Revolution."
"She will discuss the social movements of the past 4 decades and politics of gender, the economic power of the female and minority consumer market, and workplace issues," it says on the page.
