Three racing fans won the opportunity in Saratoga Race Course's "Triple Crown Connection" contest to have a meet-and-greet with this year's Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont Stakes winners on Wednesday, Aug 26.

The drawing was held Aug. 21 at Saratoga Race Course on Union Avenue.

Bob Anthony of Hamden, Conn., will get to meet Derby winner Mine That Bird, Elizabeth Lis of Amsterdam will get to meet Preakness winner Rachel Alexandra, and Wanda Powell of Tannersville will get to meet Belmont Stakes winner Summer Bird, according to the New York Racing Association.

In addition to spending time with the superstar thoroughbreds and their trainers, the winners will also receive breakfast for four on the porch and a clubhouse box for four.

On Wednesday, each of the three winners and three guests will enjoy breakfast on the porch while watching the horses exercise in the morning. From there, each group of four will spend the day watching the races live from a private Clubhouse box.

All winners will receive a photo of their meeting with the horse as a keepsake.
