Saratoga Art's second Art in the Park exhibition of the summer will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, a "dark day" at Saratoga Race Course, which has no racing on Tuesdays.
The free exhibition will be in Congress Park off Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs.
Art in the Park is a fine arts and design exhibit featuring more than 75 artists. Artists and crafts people working in all media are invited to display their original work and be present to discuss it with the public.
The criteria for inclusion in the exhibition are excellence and originality, according to a statement from Saratoga Arts (formerly called the Saratoga County Arts Council).
While many of the painters and photographers will be exhibiting equine-themed work in honor of the thoroughbred horse racing meet, viewers will find creative work of all styles and subjects as well as hand-cast jewelry, wood work and ceramics. Admission is free.
