My post was that whenever a democrat is in the White House in the last 20 years there have been targeting of Conservative groups and major scandals. The only real Bush scandal was Valerie Plane and that was a Time Magazine scandal where Scooter Libby was convicted of perjury and nobody died like Benghazi. People died in Fast and Furious and now we have IRS people taking the 5th so they must be guilty and protecting someone. You can continue with you're head in the sand and yelling that the mean old conservatibve is picking on you,but, you and I both know it's a lie.

These above scandals are real, people and their lives were destroyed and in some cases people died. The White House will tell us that Obama did not know anything, I find that hard to believe as his Chief Of Staff and his lawyer knew almost two years ago according to Jay Carney. I have been talking about the fact that he would not allow any reporter access to him if that reporter criticized him, now we have the AP scandal. Mark Levin in 1997 brought a lawsuit against the IRS because they were targeting conservative groups and the Clintons used them to go after political enemies, IRS scandal is nothing new. I have two kids in the military one recently deployed, I'm told of critical equipment shortages and told that our men and women in harms way in both Iraq and Afghanistan are afraid that Obama and his people will not have their backs, Benghazi scandal. There are many more scandals also that are pushed under the rug, Fast and Furious scandal... Shall I go on. Had these been scandals of a republican POTUS I would say we would be having impeachment hearings.

Great letter Alex, your father is also one of those genuinely nice guys. I have also had a few contacts with Mayor Jennings and he has always been exactly as you say. It's too bad that he is retiring as he, like your dad has done so much for the area.

Maybe we can find a reporter at the Gazette to see if there is any reaching out to rescue groups and APF. I'm sure if it goes bad the Gazette will be there to attack the police. I will have to make some calls.

The city should work with APF and use their class to train volunteers as a couple part time workers wont cut it.
