It's a sad state of affairs when 3 men in a room decide the highly overtaxed citizens of this corrupt state will pay for years of theft and mismanagement and give them a 25 year guarentee besides. This deal should have been perfomance based with 3 year reviews and anytime that the results did not generate revenue to offset taxpayers comitment a new entity WOULD be chosen to run the business. Taxpayers should not have to subsidize the gambling industry. If they cannot make it pay then get rid of them.

On Is the state's new deal with NYRA a good one for taxpayers?
