In general, village meetings or town meetings,for instance arent advertised or promoted and the general public is not expected to attend unless they have some problem that affects them personally,usually they make a brief complaint and leave..the general public (and elected officials,unfortunately ) arent that familiar with the Open Meetings Law and FOIL and the government will hold a "closed door" session and since routine meeetings are dull and boring,most residents wont hang around ....If it's important they can read about it in "tomorrow's" paper..

should sue....even with Hosp insurance and Medicare...my PCP's office sends you off to the emergency room to sit around for hours,because Dr XXXX is not on "call"..but makes no difference because cant get an appointment for 3 weeks anyway...St Mary's and it's outposts ,especially Canjoharie need a lot of "cleaning up"
