We were not disrespectful to our neighbors in any way. This thing got blown way out of proportion. We were friendly to anyone who walked by, one out of three cars honked and waved at us in a very friendly manner, including an ambulance and a fire truck. A police officer even pulled up and told us that we weren't doing anything wrong. So I'm not sure how this got flipped on us. Also, everyone out there was of age. I think Schenectady has a lot more to worry about than college students enjoying the weather on their own property where they pay rent.
I'm very intrigued to know what passerby's we were being aggressive to. Not a single person had a problem with us, I know as I was out there all day, so you guys need to get your story straight. In fact, I would say one out of three cars honked and waved at us in a very friendly way, including an ambulance and a fire truck. Also, a police officer even stopped by and told us we were fine. Your making us look very disrespectful and arrogant. And as for the grouper law, none of our neighbors have ever had an issue with us. I think Schenectady has a lot more to worry about than college students enjoying the weather. And for the record, every student out there that day was OF AGE.

On ‘Grouper law’ not affecting students
